NATCHEZ — Services for Quinton Douglas Ellis, 52, of Natchez, who died Sunday, June 20, 2010, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Southwood Lodge Baptist Church with the Rev. Tracy Cusic officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Ellis was born March 5, 1958, in Natchez, the son of Charles Hubert Ellis and Alicia Washington Ellis. He was a graduate of North Natchez High School and attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College. He was a former security guard.

Mr. Ellis was a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Charles Ellis.

Survivors include his mother of Natchez; five siblings, Betty Jean E. Abram and husband, Steve, of Seattle, Geraldine Ellis Sewell of Natchez, Joseph Ellis and wife, Sarah, of Baltimore, Larry Ellis and wife, Liz, of Houston, Texas and Glen D. Ellis of Atlanta; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be cousins.

Honorary pallbearers will be brothers.
