TEN YEARS AGO — Timmy Foster throws a no-hitter while Wesley Davis hits a three-run triple as the Wallace League All-Stars take a 10-0 win over the Ace Adams League All-Stars to win the Dixie Youth 11-12 city title.

FIVE YEARS AGO — Frank Matthews hits a two-run single as Summit scores five runs in the bottom of the fourth inning and goes on to defeat the Natchez 10-year-old All-Stars 6-3 at the North sub-district tournament.
