VIDALIA — Cliff Merritt, president and CEO of Delta Bank recently announced the addition of James “Jimmy” Boyd Jr. to the lending staff in the Ferriday office.

Boyd is a native of Monterey. After graduating from Monterey High School, he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Milsaps College in Jackson.

He worked for G.E. and Citifinancial in Jackson for four years. For the past eight years Boyd has been employed with Scott Equipment Company, as service manager, and precision farming specialist.

Boyd lives in Monterey with his wife, Monica Elaine Boyd and their two sons. He and his family attend New Era Baptist Church, and he is a member of the Ferriday Rotary Club.
