TEN YEARS AGO — Michael Blair and Garrett Jones each go 2-for-4 to lead the Natchez Dixie Youth 14-year-old All-Star team to a 9-6 win over Summit to advance to the semifinals of the state tournament.

FIVE YEARS AGO — Daniel Dunaway strikes out 10 while Lee Fairbanks scores the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh as the Natchez 11-year-old All-Stars defeat Petal 3-2 at the state tournament.
