FERRIDAY — Services for Robert Lee Harris, 76, of Vidalia, who died Friday, July 23, 2010, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. today at Evening Star Baptist Church with the Rev. T.A. Baker Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Mr. Harris was born May 3, 1934, in Frogmore, La., the son of Steve and Lucy Clemons Harris. He was a retired trackman for Missouri Pacific Railroad.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include one brother, Henry L. Harris; two cousins, Addie B. Phillips and Erma Skinner; two cousins he raised as his own, Rochella Sheppard and Marchella Banks; and one aunt, Leola Dixon, all of Ferriday.
