BROOKHAVEN — Services for Evelyn Jean Kimbro Smith, 84, of Brookhaven, who died Monday, Aug. 23, 2010, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, will be at 10 a.m. today at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel.

Burial will follow at Riverwood Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven.

Mrs. Smith was born Feb. 22, 1926, the daughter of Lucius Harmon Kimbro and Mary Ella Lee Kimbro.

Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a member of Union Hall Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leslie Hugh Smith; one daughter, Beverly Hugh Smith; six sisters; and two brothers.

Survivors include one son, Wayne Smith and wife, Judy, of Brookhaven; two daughters, Terry Jones of Brookhaven and Donna Duda of Ridgeland; five grandchildren, Christy Rando and husband, Tony, Jeffrey Smith and wife, Melanie, Jessica Sanders and husband, Chad, Jody Jones and wife, Mindy, and Mandy Carpenter and husband, Ron; 15 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Roma Golden and Bertha Spillers, both of Natchez.
