NATCHEZ — Services for Mary Felton Owens, 94, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010, at her residence, will be at noon Friday at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Cannonsburg.

Burial will follow at Gospel Temple Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.

Mrs. Owens was born Jan. 2, 1916, in Adams County, the daughter of Betty Reed and James Felton. She served as on the Mothers Board at Gospel Temple Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Levander Owens; one daughter, Mateal Thompson; one son, Gerald Owens, two grandsons; four sisters; three brothers; three sisters-in-law; and six brothers-in-law.

Survivors include one daughter, Georgia Martin and husband, Paris; a granddaughter she raised as her own, Rochell Jackson and husband, George; 17 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 49 great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Katie Gaylor of Natchez, Catherine Felton and Fannie Felton, both of Chicago; three brothers, Steve Felton, Richard Felton and Frank Felton, all of Milwaukee, Wis.; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
