VIDALIA — Services for Gertie Mae Todd Bush, 92, of Vidalia, who died Monday, Aug. 30, 2010, at Rapides General Medical Center in Alexandria, La., will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Young’s Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Jarrod Bottley officiating.

Burial will follow at the Vidalia Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bush was born Oct. 8, 1917, in White Castle, La., the daughter of Mallory and Corrine Elzy Todd. She was a retired cook for Concordia Parish School System.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Mallory Todd Jr.

Survivors include five godchildren, John Brown and Gwen Turner, both of Baton Rouge, Mary Louise Jones of Ferriday, Tommie Dotson and Tiffany Dotson, both of Vidalia; three special friends, Delores Robinson, Orma Jean James and Delores Whitley; her neighbor, Don Bowman; and other devoted family members, Ruth Dotson, Delores Jenkins, Sandra Dotson, Greg Dotson, Margaret Burden and Yvonne Williams, all of Vidalia.
