FERRIDAY — Services for Ronnie James Lewis Sr., 47, of Winnsboro, La., formerly of Ferriday, who died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010, at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport, La., will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. James Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Minor officiating.

Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Lewis was born Nov. 24, 1962, in Ferriday, the son of James Henry and Margaret Clark Lewis.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Survivors include his father of Dallas; one son, Ronnie J. Lewis Jr.; one daughter, Shyanna Lewis, both of Winnsboro; one stepdaughter, Theresa Atkins of Clayton; three brothers, Christopher J. Lewis and Kevin Johnson, both of Dallas, and Johnnie R. Calhoun of Natchez; five sisters, Stephanie Lewis, Sharon Lewis and Felicia Lewis, all of Ferriday, Lori Lewis and Alicia Lewis, both of Kenner, La.; two aunts, Vina Matthews and Margie Lewis, both of Ferriday; a special cousin, Cynthia Walker of Lawton, Okla.; two special nieces, Tyshkia Hunt of Dallas and LaKedria Snowden of New Orleans; and his companion, Helen M. Bryant of Winnsboro.
