KIRBY — Services for Joseph Darnell Sanxton, 32, of Meadville, who died Saturday, Sept., 4, 2010, at the University Medical Center in Jackson, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Kirby.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Sanxton was born May 4, 1978, in Natchez, the son of Joseph and Grace Houston Sanxton.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elijah Houston and Willie and Flora Sanxton.

Survivors include his loving and devoted parents; two sisters, Kisha and Kimberly Sanxton; one brother, Maurice Sanxton; grandmother, Clara Houston; and a number of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
