RACINE, Wis. — Services for David “Shorty” King, 86, of Racine, Wis., formerly of Natchez, who died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010, in Racine, will be Monday in Racine.

Arrangements are under the direction of Unity Funeral Services in Milwaukee, Wis.

After serving in the U.S. Navy, Mr. King relocated to Racine where he was employed and actively involved with American Legion Post 546.

Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Longmire and husband, Edward, Mary Ann Beechem and Helen; one son, David Smith; one sister, Julia Marshall; stepson, Chester L. Beechem; one stepdaughter, Katherine Love; one sister-in-law, Hannah Scales; and other relatives and friends.
