NATCHEZ — Services for Lula Mae Nealy, 81, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Christian Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. John Scott officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.

Mrs. Nealy was born Dec. 1, 1928, in Lorman, the daughter of Percy Wesby and Winner Chamber Wesby. She was a retired school bus driver for the Adams County public school system. She was a member of Christian Hope Baptist Church and served as a deaconess and was also a member of the Willing Workers.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Bernice Doss and Hattie Shorter.

Survivors include her husband, Sandy Nealy; one daughter, Alfreda Nealy-Gamble of Humble, Texas; one son, Terrance Nealy and wife, Pricilla, of Winter Haven, Fla.; four grandchildren, Travis Nealy and wife, Miranda, of Natchez, T. Jarad Nealy of Winter Haven, Philip Gamble and Gerika Gamble, both of Humble; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rosie Lee Martin and husband, William, of Lorman and Minnie Lee Hamberlin and husband, Emile, of Chicago; one brother, Monroe Wesby of Chicago; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
