McLemore named campus outstanding staff member

Natchez — Nancy McLemore is being recognized as outstanding faculty/staff member on the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Natchez Campus.
She has been director of the Willie Mae Dunn Library on the Natchez campus for the past seven years. Prior to Co-Lin, she taught English at Shady Grove High School in Iberville Parish, La., and at Vidalia High School. She was learning resource center director at Alcorn State University’s Division of Nursing for six years and a librarian and library coordinator for the Natchez-Adams School District for 18 years.
She has served on numerous professional committees such as the magnolia selection committee, and she has served as chair for the Mississippi Library Association’s College Roundtable and local arrangements committees and the Natchez-Adams School District United Way. She also volunteers as a storyteller and reader for the local public library and Miss-Lou elementary schools.
She is married to Jack McLemore and they have two sons, Jack III and Scott, and a grandchild due in April.
