NATCHEZ – Services for Larry Darnell Kelly, 52, of Houston, who died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Wilsonni Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Kelly was born Sept. 6, 1958, in Natchez, the son of Mary L. Kelly and Willie Fowler.

He was educated in the Natchez-Adams Public Schools and was a member of Fort Bend Church in Houston.

Mr. Kelly was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Willie Kelly.

Survivors include his loving and caring mother; four sisters, Deloris Kelly Mack and husband, Julius, and Tracy Kelly McFolling and husband, Andrew, all of Missouri, Texas, Alice Charlene Fletcher and husband, James, and Belain Dottery Merrick, all of Natchez; two brothers, Glen Kelly and Melinda Butler, of Natchez and Ronnie Kelly of Pineville, La.; one aunt, Elizabeth Washington of Chicago; special niece, Roslyn Mack of Stafford, Texas; special nephew, Ronnie Page of Houston, Texas; special cousin, Shirley Mae Jackson of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be Frederick Franklin, Herbert Wallace, Melvin Johnson, Michael Lynn Hoggatt, Michael Woods, Peter Bland and Steven Hoggatt.

Honorary pallbearers will be nephews and Stanley Nelson.
