BATON ROUGE — Services for Joan Pressgrove Pitchford, 73, of Baton Rouge, who died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, at Ochsner Hospital in Baton Rouge, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with the Rev. Andrew Merrick officiating.

A rosary will be at 10 a.m., followed by visitation until service time.

Burial will be at a later date.

Mrs. Pitchford was born in Grenada, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Pressgrove.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Thomas L. Pitchford; one daughter, Jody Pitchford McCall and husband, Charles “Chuck” McCall Sr., of Baton Rouge; one son, David Pitchford and wife, Vicki West Pitchford, of Baton Rouge; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Thomas More Excellence Campaign.
