Harold Moak

BOGUE CHITTO — Graveside services for Harold Moak, 75, of Ferriday, who died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010, were Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Wagoner officiating.

Burial followed under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Mr. Moak was born May 5, 1935, in Lincoln County, the son of William Lowrey Moak and Effie Moak. He was retired and the former owner of Moak’s Small Engine Repair.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Sandra Biddle.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Louise Moak; two sons, Lowrey Moak and wife, Debra, and Huey Moak and wife, Penny; five grandchildren, Sylvia Johns and husband, Josh, Jessi Jones and husband, Chris, Will Moak, Katie Moak and Julie Moak; one great-grandchild, Eli Jones; one sister, Norma Wiley and husband, Roger; and one brother, Michael Reeves.

Pallbearers were family and friends.

The family requests donations be made to a charity of choice.
