NATCHEZ — Services for Leola Travis Cochran, 93, who died Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 3 p.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Len McCraney officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Christie Chapel Cemetery in Magnolia, Ark., under the direction of the funeral home.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. today until service time at the funeral home.

Cochran was born July 28, 1917, the daughter of Charles B. and Georgia Mae Travis. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, P.E. “Bill” Cochran Sr.; one brother, Charles Butler Travis Jr.; and a grandson, Steve Olds.

Survivors include her two sons, P.E. “Bill” Cochran Jr. and his wife, Ruthie, of Natchez and J.G. “Buddy” Cochran and his wife, Peggy, of Natchez; two daughters, Sue Taylor and her husband Terry of Magnolia, Ark., and Glenda Morse and her husband, William of Magnolia, Ark.; eight grandchildren, Ronnie Olds, Christy Lynch, Trey McGee, Wayne Murray, Tammy Jordan, Alexis Harris, Ben Cochran and Lucy Marino; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Brady Travis of Magee; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ben Cochran, Trey McGee, Wayne Murray, Terry Taylor, William Morse and Hunter Epperson.
