GLOSTER — Services for Nolan Murray Jr., 77, native and longtime resident of Crosby, who died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, at his residence, were 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010, at Hopewell Methodist Church with the Rev. Howard Killingsworth and the Rev. Toby Jones officiating.

Burial will followed at the church cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Home in Gloster.

Mr. Murray was born April 3, 1933, in Wilkinson County, the son of Nolan Murray Sr. and Mary Joseph Murray. He was a retired truck driver.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Beverly Rogers Murray; three sons, Tommy Joe Murray and fiancée, Sonia Stubbs, James Howard Murray and wife, Laura Ann, and Nolan Murray III and wife, Briana Daniell; one daughter, Belinda Dianne Murray Mann; one granddaughter, Rosanna Cross and husband, Billy Cross; one great-grandchild, Billy Thomas Cross Jr.; one brother, Richard Murray; and two sisters, Helen Pittman and Dorothy Dixon.
