WISNER, La. — Services for Kimberly Suzanne Welch, 41, of Wisner, La., who died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010, at her residence, were 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, 2010, at South Central Baptist Church with the Rev. T.J. Boyd officiating.

Burial followed at the church cemetery under the direction of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia, La.

Mrs. Welch was born Jan. 1, 1969, in Sterlington, La. She was a member of Rosefield Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ed and Juanita Pickering and maternal grandparents, Jessie and Margie Jenkins.

Survivors include her daughter, Julia Woodburn and husband, Brian, of West Monroe, La.; husband, Ronal Welch of Rosefield, La.; her father, Gene Pickering and wife, Melba, of Wisner; her mother, Sandra Lee Jenkins Bryant and husband, Willie, of Natchez; her beloved granddaughter, Addison Woodburn of West Monroe; three sisters, Jena Anaya and husband, Lionel, of San Antonio, Texas, Hope Saucier Pickering and husband, Frankie, and Ashley Morgan and husband, Vincent, all of Wisner; one brother, Joe Curtis and wife, Brandy, of Wisner; 17 nieces and nephews; and two great-nephews and two great-nieces.

Pallbearers were Heath Roberts, Marty Roberts, Vincent Morgan, Garrett Jones, Keith Whittington and Jason Tipton.

Honorary pallbearer was Danny Welch.
