William Joseph Hardin

NATCHEZ — Services for William Joseph Hardin, 60, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010, at his residence, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010, at Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. Melvin White officiating.

Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Hardin was born Nov. 11, 1950, in Natchez, son of Mary Hall and William Watson.

He was a high school graduate and was self-employed. Mr. Hardin was a Methodist.

He was preceded in death by his father and two grandmothers, Rosie Hardin and Josephine Watson.

Survivors include his mother; two daughters, Sharon Dunbar and Diane Garden; two sons, Calvin Gooden of Texas, and Cedric Gooden of McComb; five grandchildren; two special cousins, Deloris Dobbins and Willie Dobbins; and a number of other relatives and friends throughout Natchez.

Pallbearers will be his cousins.
