Desaray Howard

NATCHEZ — Services for infant Desaray Lenydria Howard, 13 days old, who died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010, at the University Medical Center in Jackson, will be at noon Thursday at Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wilsonni Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Desaray was born Dec. 9, 2010, in Jackson, the daughter of Alaina Walker and Cory Howard Sr.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Lee Oscar Howard; great-grandparents, Andrew Frye Sr. and Mary Frye and Doris Hines; and two aunts, Helen Carter and Theresa Frye.

Survivors include her parents, both of Jackson; grandmothers, Lovonia Howard of Natchez and Nina Walker of Jackson; grandfather, Felix Harvey of Jackson; six siblings, Cory Howard Jr., Raven Howard, Prinzton Howard, Sequoia Amos, Yazmin Amos and Caleb Walker, all of Jackson; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
