LUCIEN — Services for Robert E. “Bob” Hancock Jr., 72, of Brookhaven, who died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010, at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Meadville, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Lucien Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10:30 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.

Mr. Hancock was born Feb. 3, 1938, in McCall Creek, the son of R.E. and Ruthie Hancock. He was a former member of Sure Fire Band, Quarter Century Club of International Paper, a member of Krystal Kountry Band and a member of Middlefork Country Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Michael Kerry Hancock and Kelvin Rolf Hancock; and one sister, Linda Jean Summers.

Survivors include a loving and devoted wife of 30 years, Louise B. Hancock; three daughters, Tammie Hancock and husband, Kevin, of Crosby, Melissa Gayle Coone and Sonya Thames and husband, Alan; one son, Kenneth Enlow; one sister, Glenda June Bates; two brothers, Phillip Hancock and Gary Hancock; seven grandchildren, Ericka and Donna Steinforth, T.J. Smith, Joshua and Robbie Coone, Miki and Kevin Thames; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
