FERRIDAY — Visitation for Jackie Wayne Harper, 63, of Vidalia, who died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Mr. Harper was born March 19, 1947, in Muskogee, Okla., the son of Jim Harper and Mary Cleopatra Harper. He was a carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Quentin Baines Harper.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma Harper; four sons, Jackie Wayne Harper and wife, Linda, of Sicily Island, Thomas Eugene Harper and wife, Tasha, of Jena, La., Raymond Harper and wife, DeDe, of Texas and Andrew Scott Lee of Ferriday; one daughter, Crystal Marie Harper of Vidalia; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
