NATCHEZ — Services for Minnie Brister Dinelli, 76, of Natchez, who died Dec. 28, 2010, at the University Medical Center in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m., Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Natchez.

Burial will follow at the Pine Hill Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.

Dinelli was born on June 21, 1934, in McComb, the daughter of John T. Brister and Kaie Pecola White Brister.

She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church, Ladies Auxillary of the Knights of Peter Claver, Ladies of Grace- 4th Degree, Retired Education Personnel of Mississippi Southwest Unit, NAPAC Museum, Jackson State University Alumni Association, the National Council of Negro Women and the Imani Investment Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Dinelli; one daughter, Pamela Dinelli; one son, John Dinelli, Jr.; two sisters, Christine B. Tate and Mildred B. Tobias; and one brother, J.C. Brister.

Survivors include two daughters, Yulanda A. Dinelli and Aaliyah B. Dinelli both of Natchez; siblings, Margie B. Faust and husband Eddie of McComb, Barry Brister and wife Linda of McComb, Allen Brister and wife Jo-Jean of Summit, Johnny Brister and wife Edna of Prentiss and Ray Brister and wife Dianne of Detroit; a special friend, Johnny “Sugar-Sugar” Gilmore Sr. of McComb; God-daughters who were like daughters, Zelda Buchannon, Catrina B. Blackmore and husband Todd, and LaWanda Green, all of Natchez; God-children, Darius Bowser and wife Shernell of Charlotte, N.C., Tremaine Ford, James “Ricky” Gray, Debra H. Williams and husband Eric, Tiesha Williams, Lee Ford and wife Lucy, all of Natchez, Jacqueline M. Armstead and husband Garing of Columbus, Ohio, and Christopher Hoggatt and wife Patricia of Biloxi; a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
