FERRIDAY — Services for James “Buddy” Holomon, 62, of Vidalia, who died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Young’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Morris White and the Rev. Paul Burris officiating.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Holomon was born Aug. 29, 1948, in Minden, La., the son of Kyle Holomon and Mattie Thomas Holomon. He was a truck driver and a member of the Pentecostal church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Bruce Tyra.

Survivors include his wife, Gail White Holomon; four daughters, Sheryl Holomon of Minden, Crystal Rowell and husband, Chris, of Careyville, Tenn., Nancy Heathcoate of Ferriday and Nikki Holomon of Vidalia; three sons, Donald Holomon and Matt Jackson, both of Vidalia, and Kyle Holomon and wife, Jennifer, of Jonesville; one sister, Mary Franklin of Jonesville; one brother, Art Holomon of Minden; 12 grandchildren, Holly, Harley, Katie, Hannaha, Leann and Coner Holomon, Lyndsi Lambert, Olivia Butler, Nicole Rowell, Dillion Jackson, Christian Morales and Brooklyn Brown.
