NATCHEZ — Services for Chenna Roberts Wheeler, 39, of Roxie, who died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011, in Fayette, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Springfield Baptist Church with the Rev. Glen Harrigill officiating.
Burial will follow at a private family cemetery under the direction of Spencer Funeral Home in Fayette.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday, both at the church.
Chenna was born Aug. 17, 1971, in Natchez, the daughter of Don M. Jordan and Jeanne Marie Roberts. She was a graduate of Vidalia High School. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her father; her grandmother, Allie Raye Merrill; grandfathers, Loy Jordan and Henry Roberts; great-grandparents, Esther and Frenchy Layerle, Jimmy Benit and Fritzi Scheffel; and one uncle, Arthur “Bro” Mulvihill.
Survivors include two sons, Cade and Devin Wheeler, both of Meadville; her mother of Roxie; one brother, Brandon Steinberg of Boca Raton, Fla.; grandparents, Joan Benit and Bobby Mulvihill, both of Roxie; five aunts, Judy Mulvihill and Timmy Nations, both of Brookhaven, Robyn Nugent and husband, Johnny, of Roxie, Mary Ann Davis and husband, Bruce, of Natchez, Beverly Williams and husband, Jimmy, of North Carolina and Barbara Dunn and husband, Wallace, of Canton; four uncles, Bobby Mulvihill and wife, Snooky, of Vidalia, Butch Mulvihill and wife, Judy, of Madison, Alan Roberts and wife, Shirley, of Pearl and Eddie Benit and wife, Karen, of Fayette; and a number of cousins.
Pallbearers will be Keith Mulvihill, Timmy Nations, Jeremy Naff, Bobby Mulvihill, Sam Wilkinson and Larry Dickens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chenna Roberts Wheeler Fund at Peoples Bank in Meadville or Bude.
