NATCHEZ — District Attorney Ronnie L. Harper was recently appointed to serve on the executive committee of the National District Attorneys Association Board of Directors.

Harper serves as District Attorney for the Sixth Circuit Court District which includes Adams, Amite, Franklin and Wilkinson counties.

He has served as the Mississippi representative to the National District Attorneys Association Board of Directors since 1999, having been elected each year by his peers of the Mississippi Prosecutors Association.

As a member of the executive committee, he will be directly involved in the planning and implementation of national policy for district attorneys across the country.
