Clara Washington

FERRIDAY — Services for Clara Louise Washington, 77, of Vidalia, who died Friday, March 4, 2011, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Concordia Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Danny Lewis officiating.

Burial will be at a later date at Inglewood Park Cemetery in Inglewood, Calif.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Washington was born June 21, 1933, in Vidalia, the daughter of James and Clara Smith Moore. She was employed as a nurse.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Alice Wade, Anna Belle Smith, Zenobia Lewis and Maude Rondan; and two brothers, Riley Moore and James Moore Jr.

Survivors include one daughter, Norma Andry of Los Angeles; two sons, Larry Dale Washington of Vidalia and Simon Curtis Washington of Las Vegas; one brother, Johnny Dale Moore of Morganton, N.C.; two sisters, Jerridean Bowman of Houston, Texas and Hattie Lee Slack of Victorville, Calif.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one aunt, Audrey S. Franklin of Vidalia.
