VIDALIA – Services for Gloria Mae Hardin, 70, of Vidalia, who died Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Stephen Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Minor officiating.

Burial will follow at Vidalia Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Hardin was born Sept. 4, 1941, in Sibley, the daughter of Charles and Lillian Dailey Mitchell.

She was a member of House of Prayer in Ferriday and a nurses’ aide.

Mrs. Hardin was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tommy Hardin; one daughter, Thelma Singleton; and one brother, Willie “Bill” Dailey.

Survivors include one daughter, Lilliam Williams and husband, Samual, of Vidalia; step-daughter, Sharon Hooper and husband, Arnold, of McDonough, Ga.; one brother, Charles Mitchell Jr. of Natchez; three sisters, Martha Birden, Ora D. Payne and Willie Ruth Marshall, all of Vidalia; six grandchildren, three aunts and two uncles.
