STANTON — Services for Louise Ford, 73, of Natchez, who died Monday, April 18, 2011, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. today at Smithland Baptist Church in Stanton.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Ms. Ford was born Feb. 27, 1938, in Church Hill, the daughter of James and Easter Henderson King.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Katie Brown; and three brothers, Ananais King, Jessie Tyler and Charlie King.

Survivors include her companion, Joseph Dunbar Jr. of Natchez; one sister, Ethel Slack and husband, Felton, of Marrero, La.; two brothers, James King of New Orleans and Leroy King and wife, Dorothy, of Natchez; 10 nieces, Rose Babins, Carol Tyler, Sanita Tensley, TreRhona Joseph, Serita King, Sonya King, Shevawn McLain, Stacy Brown, Chazlyn King and Christine Crockett; four nephews, Jesse Buie, Charlie King Jr., Kalvin Brown and Jamie King; one goddaughter, Felecia Johnson; one godson, Lynncoy Thornburg; and a number of other relatives and friends.
