Mr. and Mrs. William Thomas Roberts of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, April Dawn Roberts, to Seth Dennison Swilley, son of Mr. and Mrs. David “Bo” Swilley of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School in Natchez and an upcoming graduate of Mississippi University for Women where she plans to receive a bachelor of science degree in exercise science.

She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Eva Mae Purser and the late Clarence Purser of Meadville and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Roberts of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is a 2008 graduate of Huntington High School in Ferriday and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in education with a history minor.

He is the grandson of Ada Finn and the late L.G. “Sonny” Finn of Ferriday, Judy Nelson Whittington and the late Manson Nelson Sr. of Vidalia and Mr. and Mrs. Martin “Coot” Swilley of Ferriday.

The wedding will be at 6 p.m., Saturday, May 21, 2011, at the home of the Rev. Bo Swilley in Natchez. A reception will follow.

Family and friends are invited. Formal invitations will be sent to out-of-town guests only.
