GLOSTER — Services for Charlotte Virginia Boykin, 70, of Crosby, formerly of Wilkinson County, who died Sunday, May 22, 2011, at her residence, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Gloster with the Rev. Bernard Waites and the Rev. Greg Touchstone officiating.

Burial will follow at Mars Hill Cemetery near Crosby under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday, both at the funeral home.

Mrs. Boykin was born June 11, 1940, in Natchez, the daughter of George Verlis Perry and Myrtis Vines Perry. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Ronald Perry; and one sister, Georgene Jackson.

Survivors include her husband, L.H. Boykin; two sons, Dale Boykin and wife, Donna, of Morgan City, La., and Shannon Boykin and wife, Wanona, of Amelia, La.; six grandchildren, Ashley Boykin, Hunter Boykin, Stacie Humphrey, Denny Humphrey, Aaron Ortego and Kristen MacNeill; one brother, Thomas Perry and wife, Joyce, of Crosby; and one sister, Judy Shell and husband, Kermit, of Roxie.
