NATCHEZ — Services for Mary Madeleine Hammett Bianca, 92, of Natchez, formerly of Lake St. John, who died Saturday, May 28, 2011, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary Basilica with the Rev. David O’Connor officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the church with a Rosary service at 7 p.m.

Mrs. Bianca was born May 9, 1919, in Natchez, the daughter of Everett John Hammett and Mary Madeleine Perrault Hammett. She was a member of St. Mary Basilica.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank M. Bianca; and a number of sisters and brothers.

Survivors include one sister, Olive Rita Rogillio and husband, Clifton, of Pasadena, Texas; a number of nieces and nephews; and a food friend, Malinda Ford.

Pallbearers will be O’Dare Hammett, Kevin Whittington, Mike Ford, Alan Byrd, Frank Bianca II and Martin Hammett Jr.

Memorials may be made to Cathedral School.
