NATCHEZ — Services for James Tanner Wilson, 19, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at his residence, will be at 1 p.m. today at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Denny Read and the Rev. Ed Dilworth officiating.

Tanner was born June 20, 1991, in Conroe, Texas, the son of Barry Joseph Wilson and Josephine Feltus Finley Wilson. He attended Mississippi State University and planned to attend Colorado Mountain College in the fall.
He will be remembered by many for his sense of humor and his ability to bring laughter and joy to all around him. He loved the outdoors, soccer, wakeboarding, snowboarding, music and spending time with his many friends and family who will miss his dimpled smile and that twinkle in his eyes. Our loss is heaven’s gain.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jim Finley and Dean Gibson; and his uncle, Chip Finley.
Survivors include his father; his mother; one sister, Allie Wilson; one brother, Peyton Wilson, all of Natchez; grandparents, C.C. Gibson of Ferriday, Katherine Finley of Columbia, S.C., and Woody and Anne Wilson of Shreveport, La.; six aunts and uncles, Woody Wilson of Boston, Paul Wilson and wife, Amy, of Shreveport, Mary Shaw and husband, David, of Mobile, Ala., Roxanne Prentiss and husband, Bill, of Denver, Colo., Stewart Finley and wife, Denise, of Oswego, Ill., and Alyce Finley of Dyersburg, Tenn.; and a number of first cousins.
