FERRIDAY — Services for Margie Faye Pilgreen, 82, of Ridgecrest, La., who died Friday, June 17, 2011, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday with Bro. Jimmy Keene and Bro. Jack Crane officiating.

Burial will follow at 5 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Union Parish under the direction of the funeral home.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Monday at the funeral home.

Pilgreen was born July 2, 1928, in Texas, the daughter of Bill and Bertha Bailey Lane. She was a resident of Ridgecrest, a homemaker and a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harvey Thomas Pilgreen; one daughter, Angela Maxine PIlgreen; two brothers, Bonnie and Travis Lane; and one sister Billie Adams.

Survivors include one daughter, Pam Richardson and husband Danny of Jena, La.; one son, Michael Pilgreen and wife Marjorie of Ridgecrest; one sister, Willie Mae Harris of Beckville, Texas; five grandsons, Scot Campbell, Alan Pilgreen, Eddie, Joey and Justin Tarver; one granddaughter, Amy Christensen; and eight great grandchildren.

Palbearers will be Alan Pilgreen, Scott Campbell, Justin Tarver, Michael Pilgreen, George Jackson Jr. and Ricky Kennedy.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jack Crane, Danny Richardson and Ian Campbell.
