JONESVILLE — Services for Kevin Lane Reed, 48, of Jonesville, who died Sunday, June 19, 2011, at Louisiana State University Shreveport, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville with the Rev. Rev. Mack Walker officiating.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Arrangements are under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville.

Mr. Reed was born Jan. 18, 1963, in Hayti, Mo., the son of Buster Brown Reed and Dorothy Faye Reed. He was a parts man and a member of the Catholic church.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James and Callie Reed and maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Marie Cecil.

Survivors include his parents; one son, Kendall Reed and wife, Lindsay; two brothers, Jimmy Reed and Ricky Reed; his wife, Sandi Spann Reed; one stepson, Kurston Gentry; two stepdaughters, Kourtney Gentry and Kensley Bowie, all of Jonesville; two grandsons, Dylan Alexander and Chanler Reed; one step-granddaughter, Lynzee Bowie; one step-grandson, Terry Bowie; one nephew, Derrick Barr of Deville; and a number of aunts and uncles.

Pallbearers will be Lamar LaPraire, Charles LaPraire, Tommy Dunn, Robert West, Terry Wiley, Henry Spann, Hank Spann and Christopher Spann.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Sanders, Wilbert “Paul Willie” McGlothin and E.C. Wiley.
