Ben Hillyer/THE NATCHEZ DEMOCRAT — Camo Construction workers Oliver Hawkins, Jesse Reed and Sean Washington dump concrete in one of the many holes dug at the Learned’s Mill Road end of the Natchez Trails. More than 100 holes will be filled with reinforcing steel and concrete to form pilings for the observation decks and stairs at either end of the trails.

A crane was used to transport the concrete over the bluffs to the nature trails below.
