Dr. Justin and Sally Ansel of Covington, La., announce the engagement of their daughter, Lisa Ansel to Ty Smith, son of Bert Smith of Natchez and Gary and Naomi Jones of Ferriday. The bride-to-be is a graduate of the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Ala., and is currently receiving her doctorate at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. She is completing an internship at Utah State Hospital in Provo, Utah. The groom-to-be is a graduate of Adams County Christian School in Natchez and is also a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. He is employed by Alta High School in Sandy, Utah. He is the grandson of Howard and Betty Smith of Brookhaven and the late Burdett and Christine Greenlee of Kilmichael. The wedding will be at 6 p.m., Saturday, July 23, 2011, at The Canyons Resort in Park City, Utah. A reception will follow.
