FERRIDAY — Services for Lana Fleming, 94, of Ferriday, who died Monday, June 20, 2011, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at noon Monday at Mount Beulah Baptist Church with the Rev. Eugene Williams officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Fleming was born March 14, 1917, in Edgard, La., the daughter of David Donaldsonville Young and Rachel Dillion Young. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Isaiah Fleming; one son, Isaiah Fleming Jr.; one daughter, Marian Melancon; and one grandson, Reginald Melancon Sr.
Survivors include two daughters, Vivian Dishmon of Vidalia and Deloris Lee of Rialto, Calif.; 18 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
