Randall and Jeanette Winborne of Vidalia announce the engagement of their daughter, Casey Winborne to Charles Bayer Jr., son of Charles and Maria Bayer of Mandeville, La. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and is attending the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in Lafayette, La. She is the granddaughter of Jerry and Billie Caraway of Natchez and L.R. and Darcus Winborne of Washington. The groom-to-be is a graduate of St. Paul’s School in Covington, La., and a graduate of Southeastern University in Hammond, La. He is employed by CC and A Ventures, LLC in Lafayette. He is the grandson of Batiste and Phyllis Giardina of New Orleans and Edward and Mary Bayer of Metairie, La. The wedding will be at 7 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011, at Rosalie Plantation in Natchez. A reception will follow at The Carriage House located at Stanton Hall. Family and friends are invited.
