Editor’s note: Phillip Wayne Shorts, 54, 319 1/2 Arlington Ave., was listed in Thursday’s crime reports in error. Though Shorts was pulled over by the Natchez Police Department, the charges reported against him were later dropped when NPD discovered an error on their part. An NPD spokesperson said Friday that Shorts was not arrested. The Democrat is happy to set the record straight.
