NATCHEZ — Services for Jessica Lewis Flowers, 59, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011, at her residence, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church with the Very Rev. James P. Fallon, SSJ, officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. A Rosary will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church.
Mrs. Flowers was born May 2, 1952, in Natchez, the daughter of Lettie Hall Lewis and Jessie Jones Jr. She was a 1970 graduate of South Natchez High School. She was a teacher’s assistant with Natchez-Adams School District. She was retired.
Mrs. Flowers was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Other interests included cooking, decorating, traveling and shopping.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Charles L. Flowers Jr.; one son, Jeremy R. Lewis Sr. and wife, Stephanie; two grandchildren, Jeremy Jr. and JaMya Lewis; two sisters, Fannie Campbell and Frankie R. Jones; one brother, Willie H. Lewis and wife, Jessie; in-laws, Charles L. Sr. and Celia Flowers; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be Charles Bacon, Melton Hawkins, Kelvin Jones, Ken Griffin, Sgt. 1st Class Garey Howard and Leonard Harris.
