NATCHEZ — Memorial Services for Vernestine Lee, 62, of Washington, who died Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011, at Adams County Nursing Home, will be at 2 p.m. today at New Hope the Vision Center.

Arrangements are under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.

Ms. Lee was born July 11, 1949, in Adams County, the daughter of Robert and Annie Boone Lee.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Ronald Lee, Donald Lee, Robert Lee Jr., Bobby Lee and Lester Lee.

Survivors include one sister, Helen Jean Lee and special friend, Clyde Owens, of Natchez; one brother, Johnny Lee and wife, Dorothy, of Chicago; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
