FERRIDAY — Services for Thelma I. White, 78, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 10 a.m. today at Sycamore Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Clullam officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Mrs. White was born July 20, 1933. She was a retired nurse.

Mrs. White was Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy White; one daughter, Shelia Chelette; one son, Raymond Chelette; and her mother, Glendora Smith.

Survivors include two sons, Ruffus Leo “Buckshot” Chelette and wife, Debra, and Scottie Chelette and wife, Deborah; three grandsons, Bobby, Chad and Brian Chelette; two granddaughters, Tiffany O’Quinn and Lisa Hickman; four great-grandchildren, Breyon Henderson, Cheaunce Hickman, Danielle Hickman and Alexandra Riley; and the father of her children, Tib Chelette.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Chelette, Brian Chelette, Matty Ribaul, Chris Price, Edwin Beach and Roy Doughty.
