Elizabeth Summerskill Milliken

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Terry Milliken II of Ferriday announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Summerskill Milliken to Stratton Drew Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Grady Thompson of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Huntington High School in Ferriday and a graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She also received her doctor of physical therapy from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. She is employed by Miss-Lou Physical Therapy in Natchez, Ferriday and Jonesville.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Bennett Fudickar Sr. and the late Mrs. Jean Lauer Milliken and the late Mr. Tom Terry Milliken Sr., all of Ferriday.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Adams County Christian School in Natchez. He is also a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg where he received a bachelor of arts in history and a master’s of guidance education from Alcorn State University.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Francis Patterson Jr. of Natchez and Mrs. Edwina Thompson and the late Henry Thompson of Tylertown.

The wedding will be at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, at First Presbyterian Church in Natchez.
