Friday, Oct. 14:


Dwight Anthony Berry Jr., 21, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension — revoked or suspended. Sentenced to 10 days suspended. Fine set at $425. Berry also charged with failure to obey traffic control devices – five times. Case remanded to files. Berry also pleaded guilty to reckless driving. Fine set at $220. Berry also pleaded guilty to resisting arrest. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $494. Berry also pleaded guilty to fleeing or eluding a law enforcement officer in a motor vehicle. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $344. 
Michael Christian Burr, 37, found not guilty of petit larceny.
Harry Lamonte Sumpter, 44, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor false pretense. Fine set at $509.68
Tasha Roshell Williams, 31, charged with DUI – first offense no test. Motion of defense to dismiss because state cannot meet burden of proof; lack of evidence motion granted to dismissed.
Frank James Polk Jr., 31, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct – failure to comply with officer. Sentenced to 30 days with 25 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for five days already served. Fine set at $444 minus $125 suspended. Must pay a fine of $319.
Charles Daniel Thibodeaux, 35, pleaded guilty to indecent exposure. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $344.

Wednesday, Oct. 19
Shasta N. McDonald, 34, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident/damaged property/adj. roadway. Fine set at $255 with $155 suspended. Must pay a fine of $100.
McDonald also charged with failure to maintain insurance proof in vehicle. Case dismissed — had proof.
McDonald also pleaded guilty to DUS – implied consent. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 48 hours in jail. Fine set at $630.
