FROGMORE — Services for L.C. McCray Sr., 67, of Ferriday, who died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at St. James Baptist Church in Frogmore with the Rev. Theodore Walker officiating.

Burial will follow at Mount Zion Church Cemetery in Wildsville, La., under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Mr. McCray was born Oct. 13, 1944, in Greenville, the son of Lucille McCray Cooper.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Leon McCray and his grandmother, Annie Edwards.

Survivors include his mother of Bolling Brooks, Ill.; two sons, L.C. McCray Jr. and Fred McCray; four daughters, Annette M. Burden, Nannette M. Robinson and husband, Anthony, Shirley M. Perkins and husband, Kevin, all of Ferriday, and Marilyn M. Murray and husband, Robert, of Ridgecrest; five brothers, Willie McCray of Bolling Brooks, Roger McCray of Chicago, James McCray and wife, Gloria, Johnny McCray, all of Greenville, and Ronnie Williams and wife, Karen, of Palm Bay, Fla.; one sister, Annie P. Parish of Bolling Brooks; his ex-wife, Annie McCray of Ferriday; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
