FERRIDAY — Services for Thelma Jean White, 64, of Ferriday, who died Monday, Oct. 31, 2011, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rufus Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Michael Reed officiating.

Burial will follow at Myrtle Grove Cemetery in Waterproof under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. White was born Oct. 29, 1947, in Vidalia, the daughter of Edward and Luebertha Morris Atkins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Dutch White Sr.; three sons, Joseph White and wife, Darlene, Dutch White Jr. and Demetri White; four daughters, Nicole White and Brenda White, both of Ferriday, Lubertha Jolla and husband, David, of Puyallup, Wash., and Gwendolyn Grant and husband, Ricky, of Houston, Texas; six brothers; two sisters; 17 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one aunt; and one uncle.
