Vidalia approves old voting district lines

VIDALIA — The Vidalia Board of Aldermen passed a resolution to leave voting districts as they are during its regular board meeting Tuesday evening.

A study of population growth found that Vidalia had neither gained nor lost a significant enough change in population to merit voting district changes.

– The board took bids for two surplus vehicles. The cars went to the highest bidders.

-Four occupational licenses were passed for businesses.

The next aldermen meeting will be at Dec. 6 at Vidalia City Hall.
