GLOSTER — Services for Shelvie Jean Netterville Rodriguez, 72, of Prairieville, La., formerly of Wilkinson County, who died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Center in Baton Rouge, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Corinth Church of Christ, in the Buffalo community, with the Rev. Bernard Waites officiating.

Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Woodville under the direction of Brown Funeral Home in Gloster.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until service time Friday, both at the church.

Mrs. Rodriguez was born May 4, 1939, the daughter of Lafayette Netterville Sr. and Mazie Phipps Netterville. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Mrs. Rodriguez was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ernest Netterville and Lafayette Netterville Jr.; and one sister-in-law, Gloria Jean Netterville McGehee.

Survivors include her husband, Lawrence “Buck” Rodriguez; two daughters, Lorinda “Missy” Finley and husband, Mark, and Damaris “BeBe” Burns and husband, Robert; one stepdaughter, Sonya Rodriguez Turner and husband, Mark; seven grandchildren, Ashley Norris, Garrett Rodriguez, Chase Rodriguez, Mazie Burns, Roger, Reyna and Brianna “BeBe” Finley; four great-grandchildren, Garrett Rodriguez Jr., Lelia, Eden and Sadie; five sisters-in-law, Patricia Netterville Smith, Joyce Rodriguez Sanchez, Audrey Rodriguez Percle, Majorie Ourso Acosta and Marion Rodriguez Newman; one brother-in-law, Dawson Rodriguez; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Garrett Rodriguez, Chase Rodriguez, Roger Finley, Rodney Netterville, Doug Netterville and Jeff Netterville.
